Community Outreach
We are passionate about extending the love of God to our community, by being present and bringing God's presence wherever we go. We want to mobilize our church to be engaged in expressing God's love to the world, beginning in our own community and country.

"As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God" (1 Peter 4:10 KJV).
We want to be a lighthouse in the community to those who have no church affiliation, bring hope to the hurting, and preach the gospel to those who may never have heard the plan of salvation.

At Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church we love our community and we are committed to investing in opportunities to build meaningful relationships with our neighbors.

Some of the ways we seek to get to know our neighbors is through various events that we host throughout the year.

A few of these events include:
-
Kids Bible Study every Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM. Bible study includes church members as well as children from two area neighborhoods that are picked up and returned by church bus. Dinner is provided.
